I recently purchased the magic hose to replace my expanding fabric one which lasted 5 minutes. I am very impressed with the excellent quality, great value for money . It’s 5 stars from me.

It works adequately. I mean, it’s just a hose. It’s handy to have multiple spray settings, though over time I might replace it with one with a squeeze trigger.
My complaint is that it definitely doesn’t reach 30m. Based on the known length of my garden I’d say it got to a maximum of around 25m. The spray probably made it the rest of the way to 30m, so it was just okay for my needs.

Have only used it once but so far so good. It’s a little heavier than expected and it could do with a reele to wrap it up. Would have preferred a handle to stop and start the water flow. Still think it’s value for money.

I bought this expecting it to be as friendly as the green ones I had a while ago only more robust. I agree that it doesn’t kink, but it twists and wriggles and is difficult to wrestle out of its coils.
It stretched to the advertised length OK, but when the water was turned off it retracted by about a third rather than two-thirds, and was very reluctant to coil up again.
Carefully emptied, dried, repacked, and returned.
