Ladybird book bunting – Rumpelstiltskin

Description

This is a length of bunting made from an entire vintage Ladybird book – Rumpelstiltskin. There are 25 triangular flags each cut from a single page of the book. The flags measure 10cm x 17cm and are hung 2cm apart giving a total length of 380cm (includes 30cm each end for tying). The images hang to the front and the story to the back. The flags are edged in a dark green machine stitching which is matched with a dark green cotton binding. The stitching gives strength and some definition to the paper and the bottle green coordinates well with the rich dark colour of the illustrations. A great gift for a vintage inspired interior or for someone who loves traditional tales or vintage books.
