Hand quilted single quilt/throw. 100% natural fibres. Shades of teal, grey, blue and yellow come together in this traditionally made patchwork quilt or throw. The quilt measures 160cm x 190cm (63 x 75 inches) and is made using 100% cotton fabric and thread. The inner layer, or wadding, is 50% cotton, 50% bamboo, providing a very soft and breathable layer of warmth. For use as an additional or decorative layer of bedding, a throw for your favourite chair, a picnic blanket, a snuggly film-night blanket, curling up with your favourite mug and a good read, daydreaming by the fire, or even a bit of star gazing… The patchwork top is machine-stitched on an original 1917 Singer Treadle machine, then all three layers are hand-quilted with 100% Italian cotton threads in yellow and grey. Finally, the grey binding is added and finished by hand stitching. Machine washable on a gentle cycle using cold water. Air dry flat wherever possible, but can be tumble dried gently if your drier has a cool setting. Remove from drier whilst still slightly damp and finish by air drying.
